Since 1952, the Hotel Filser in Oberstdorf has been a family-owned place of hospitality. At that time, Georg Filser left his home in Füssen and went to Oberstdorf to open the hotel Filser. The hotel and the adjoining apartments are now managed by his grandson Michael Thanner. The hotel has developed into an exclusive 4-star hotel near the centre of Oberstdorf.
