Allgäu-Walser-Pass
There is a small discount as well as partially free services which you can take advantage of with the Allgäu-Walser-Pass. Further informations about the Allgäu-Walser-Pass can be found in the brochures “Reiseführer” and Mehrwert”.
 

Allergies

We are specialized in to satisfy your needs concerning the matter of allergies.
Our hotel rooms are all nonsmoking-rooms and are cleaned and inspected according to the highest standards.

Babys / Children
A highchair for babies can be provided on request in our holiday apartment/restaurant.
The diaper-changing table can be found at the ladies’ restroom downstairs in our main building. Baby cribs can be provided on request in our holiday apartment/rooms (not guaranteed in every bedroom). Please keep in mind that not all our rooms/holiday appartements are equipped with  an extra bed/sofa.

Bathrobes
We offer bathrobes for all our adult guests. You can find them in the closet in your room or chalet. If you would like a different size, you can always ask at the reception for a suitable size. Slippers are available on request from our reception or our cleaning staff.

Bicycles/E-Bikes
You can rent bicycles for free. Please ask at our reception for further information.

Our E-Bikes can be rent for 30,00 EUR (per Person & Day) and are perfect for a bit more challenging terrain. 

Bike-Tour-Maps can be purchased at our reception for a small fee.

Please keep in mind that we only offer the rent of our bikes during the summer
season.

Board games
In our conservatory you will find different board games to borrow for entertainment.

Cable Car Tickets
Cable Car tickets can be acquired at each cable-car station. You will get a small discount at the register with your “Allgäu-Walser-Pass”. It is possible to book a 7- or 14-days-tickets on your “Allgäu-Walser-Pass” including all 8 cable cars in Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal (via the Allgäu-Walser-App).  

Covers / Blankets / Pillows
In Case you need additional pillows, covers, blankets or a change of your

bedclothes, hypoallergenic beds/ - pillows, etc. do not hesitate to ask our cleaning staff or at the reception (Tel. 510).

We offer different kind of pillows for our guests:

Charging Cable

On request you can get a charging cable for your electrical devices at the reception.
 

Charger (E-Bikes & E-Cars)
A charging station for electric bikes is available in our underground car park.

We have 3 charging stations for e-cars in front of the main building.
We charge 0,50 € per kW/h. Please register at the reception if you would like to charge your car.

Cross-Country-Skiing (Winter)
The nearest cross-country ski trail can be found in the southern meadows, about 300 metres from the hotel. Equipment can be rented at the nearest ski school
(Erste Ski Schule). The reception will gladly explain you the way (phone 510).

Our rooms are available at latest from 3 p.m. and our holiday apartments from 4 p.m.

Check-Out / Departure
We kindly ask you to vacate the hotel rooms till 11 a.m. and the holiday apartments till 10 a.m. Please let us know if you would like us to help you with your luggage via phone 510.

A Late-Check-Out can be arranged for a fee, depending on availability.

One day prior to your departure you can settle your spendings during your stay (until 8:30 p.m.). Please don’t forget to hand over your roomkeys on the day of your departure.
 

Directions and Location
Our hotel is located in a quiet area near the centre of Oberstdorf.
The city centre can be reached within 5 and the main station (bus & train) within 10 walking minutes.
Extensive hiking routes are accessible nearby.

Doctor

The joint practice of Dr. Barthel & Dr. Kinzel is located in Weststraße 7 – 9

in Oberstdorf. You can get there in about 5 minutes. Telephone: 08322-2158.
 

Dogs
Dogs are welcomed in our hotel.
 
We charge 25,00 EUR for your dog per night (including a Welcome package & towel). We can provide a feeding bowl for your dog on request.
In our restaurant we can provide a table for you and your dog, in a small area. Please inform us at the front office. 
Damaged furniture or any other extraordinary soilage in your room will be charged with an additional cleaning fee of 50,00 EUR.
 

Dress Code
We ask for appropriate dress code in our restaurant.
It is not allowed to enter the restaurant area in a bathrobe.

 

Disabilities
We can offer a disable parking lot nearby the entrance of the main building of our
hotel. Our hotel is not 100% suitable for disabled guests. Our rooms are partially equipped with bathtubs or showers with a shower entry of 15 cm (at least). Certain areas of our hotel (pool, sauna, “Wintergarden”) can only be reached by stairs.

Excursions
We offer guided excursions, as well as hiking-tours and e-bike-tours (summer) or snow-shoe-tours (winter) on a weekly basis with our “Filser-Activity-Program”.

With our personal guides, you can participate in our guided tours for free.
Our “Filser-Activity-Program” also includes a variety of indoor activities (for example Yoga). The specific dates of these activities and tours can be found on our programme over the chimney in the hotel lobby.

Elevator / Lift
Elevators / lifts are available in our main building as well as in our “Landhaus” with a width of approx. 82 cm.

The holiday apartments are either on the ground floor or can be reached by stairs.

 

Feedback / Evaluation / Review
Your opinion is important to us! Please fill out our online evaluation form. If you want our evaluation form in paper our reception staff can provide you with that.

Gym

Our gym is located on the lower level of our “Haus Höfats” and is daily open from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. You can get there through the subterranean hallway which is connected with our parking garage. For access to our gym please use your roomkey (keycard) on the card reader on the entrance door to the gym.
 

Gift Vouchers
Different kind of vouchers can be purchased for our hotel.
Give your family or friends a special treat and a few hours of vacation from everyday life and stress. For further information speak to our reception staff or visit our website (www.filserhotel.de).

Hygiene Products & Items
Hygiene items such as razors, shower caps, cosmetic wipes, cotton pads & sticks as well as sewing kit, bath slippers and shoe-care-sponges are available at the reception.

Indoor swimming pool and sauna

Open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Sauna open from 13:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Outdoor terrace with deckchairs can be reached from the indoor swimming pool.

Lounge (Bar / “Wintergarden”)

The hotel-bar is right next to our reception. Our lounge also known as “Wintergarten” is accessible through our main dining hall (westside). You can also use our restaurant-terrace on sunny and warm days.

Letters / Stamps
You need to send off letters or postcards? Please give them off at our reception and we will bring them to the local post office for you. If you want to send them off by yourself, the nearest mailbox is in the Freibergstrasse only 20 meters away from our main building. You can acquire stamps at our reception.

Lunch-Package
You can order a packed lunch for 9,50 EUR. Order forms can be found at the reception, please register your packed lunch at the least one day in advance.
You will receive further information at the reception.

Laundry Service / Dry Cleaning

Our laundry and ironing service is only available upon request.

Drop off the dirty clothes before 9:00 a.m. at the reception. You can request a laundry-bag at the reception and housekeeping staff. The return will take place within 2-3 (working) days. Dry cleaning is done by an external provider. Please hand in your clothes for dry cleaning at the reception before 9:00 a.m., the return takes place within 48 hours (not on weekends and holidays). The hotel is not responsible for laundry given to an external service for cleaning or washing.

Local Map / City Map

The local map is available at the reception free of charge.

Hiking-, cross-country skiing and cycling maps can be purchased for a small fee.

Luggage / Left-Luggage-Office

You will find a luggage trolley at the entrance of our main building as well as in front our “Landhaus”. If you need help with your luggage, please inform us at the reception, we would be happy to help you. You can safely store your luggage in our hotel, even after your departure. Please speak to our reception staff.

Massage
Our wellness department is available from Wednesday to Sunday from 1.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. An overview of prices and treatments can be found on our website or in our brochure, which we have laid out at the reception.

Minibar
​​​Your minibar will be refilled upon request. You will find an order slip in your room, or you can get one at the reception. Your minibar is supposed to keep cold beverages at a certain temperature. Ask at the reception if you need to store something in a colder fridge or freezer.

Newspapers / Magazines

A variety of local newspapers and different magazines can be found in our “Wintergarten”. If you would like to read a specific newspaper or magazine, you can ask at the reception for our newspaper/magazine service.
The orders will be charged to your room invoice.

Pharmacy / Medical Supplies
The next pharmacy is 5 walking minutes away. The address is Weststrasse 11
in Oberstdorf. Do not hesitate to ask our reception staff for directions.
A first aid-kit is available at the reception.

Printer
If you have printouts or need copies, just ask our reception staff.

Parking
The parking slots around the hotel-komplex can be used free of charge. Every parking slot has appropriate signage. You can also park in our underground car park for a small fee of 15,00 EUR per day. Please register at the reception for parking slot in the garage.

Payments
Payments can be made at the reception. We accept cash, debit- and credit cards (MasterCard & VisaCard).
Interim invoices cannot be issued. At departure all amounts are due, including all additional service (for example local fees, receipts from the restaurant, etc.)

It is possible to pay your invoice daily from 7.00 a.m. until 8.30 p.m.

Pool (indoor) and Sauna

Our pool- and sauna area is located in ground floor our main building.
The pool is open from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. and the saunas from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The water temperature is approx. 28 - 30° C.

The pool covers a size of 12m x 6m with a depth of 0.90m to 1.30m.
 

Pool - children
Under the supervision of their parents, children up to the age of 16 are welcome to enjoy themselves in our pool from 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. during our “children-bathing-hours”. In this time-period children are allowed to romp and play in the pool. Children are still allowed to use our swimming pool outside of the bathing hours. Please be aware of other guests that are seeking some peace and quiet outside of the children's bathing hours. On the upper floor, accessible by some stairs, you will find our “Ruheraum” (resting room). This room is only for relaxation after sauna and swimming and is not available to children (16+).

Public Transportation
The main station (bus & train) can be reached within 15 walking minutes.
Information about train connections as well as bus timetables can be found at the reception. Most of the public buses in Oberstdorf can be used free of charge within the local boundary with the “Allgäu-Walser-Pass”.

Radio
You can receive German radio stations via your TV.

You will find a channel list in your room.

Restaurant

Breakfast: 07:00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. | Snack & Bistro Menu: 2:00 p.m. – 22.00 p.m.

For a light bite or a more substantial meal, our hearty snack and bistro menu is available daily from 2.00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Look forward to regional platters, fresh salads and bowls prepared with carefully selected local ingredients, as well as crispy pinsas and delicious tarte flambée. Quality, freshness and our strong connection to the region are at the heart of everything we serve. Order whatever you fancy and accompany it with a glass of wine, a cocktail or a refreshing beer – all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

To ensure the best possible service, we recommend reserving a table in advance, especially during peak dining times. This allows us to prepare for your visit and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Reception / Front Office

The reception is occupied 24 hours.
You will regularly meet our reception staff between 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Our night porter is available from 8.00 p.m. to 6.30 a.m.

Roomservice
If you have any requests, our room service is available for food and beverages from 7.00 am to 10:30 pm (phone 522).
We charge 5,00 EUR for the roomservice.

Roomcleaning / Housekeeping
Our environment and especially the Allgäu nature is very important to us.  We want to be as sustainable as possible with our resources, therefore, the housekeeping will carry out the room cleaning on request.

Please notify the reception at least one day in advance if you would like your room to be cleaned.

Smoking

We are a non-smoking hotel. You can smoke on the balcony/terrace of your room. Smoking in the room or holiday apartment will be charged with a cleaning fee of at least EUR 200,00.
 

Safe

All our rooms and holiday apartments are equipped with a safe.

At the reception there is also a central safe, where you can deposit your valuables as well.


Shoe Cleaning Service

On the third floor of our main building (at the staircase) as well as at the entrance of our “Landhaus” you will find shoe polish machine. On request you can get a shoe-shine-sponge (shoe polish) at the reception.


Snowshoes (Winter)
Snowshoes can be rented at the reception for a small fee 15,00 EUR per pair/day. In addition, we allow ourselves to retain a deposit of 20.00 EUR per pair in cash. You will get this back after returning the snowshoes.
 

Ski Cellar
Our ski cellar is located in the basement of our “Landhaus”.
This room is also equipped with a ski boot dryer.
 

Staff
Our staff is always responsive and helpful. The reception is staffed 24 hours a day and can be reached by phone 510.

Towel Exchange & New Bedlinen – Holiday Apartment

Hotel Room: Your towels and bedlinen can be replaced on request.

Holiday Apartment:
Please fill out the designated card, which you will receive on the 3rd day and hand it in at the reception.
The next day you will receive your fresh bedlinen/towels.
 

Umbrellas
Umbrellas can be borrowed free of charge at the reception upon request.

Visitor Tax (Local Tax)
In of Oberstdorf a local tax of 4,70 EUR per person (from 16 years) and per day is charged. For children from 9 - 15 years fee of 3,90 EUR per child and day is charged. Children up to the age of 8 are free of charge from the local tax.

Walking Sticks
Walking sticks can be borrowed free of charge at the reception upon request.

Wake Up Service
You are welcome to ask the reception to wake you up (phone 510).
